Der Jazzschlagzeuger Charly Antolini
Swing'n'Roll

Seit 65 Jahren pulsiert, wirbelt und zimbelt er am Drumset. Charly Antolini hat unter anderem mit Sidney Bechet, Benny Goodman und Eugen Cicero gespielt. Seine Musikauswahl steht ganz im Dienste des Jazz-Standards von Duke Ellington: „It don’t mean a thing, if it ain’t got that swing.“

Ein älterer blonde Herr sitzt am Drumset und betätigt mit schnellen Bewegungen eines Drumsticks das Becken.
Dreimal wurde er von der Zeitschrift Drums & Percussion zum "Jazz-Drummer des Jahres" gekürt. Seine Virtuosität und Technik machten ihn zum Vorbild für Schlagzeuger in aller Welt. (Bjoern Kray Iversen)
